“Vagabond Strays” ~ Balthasar the WOOLLY MAMMOTH ~ Miniature pull toy

This sturdy miniature pull-along woolly mammoth "Balthasar" is handmade of 100% high quality South-German/New Zealand Merino wool and Nepal lambswool in a natural melange of browns, dark brown, and ivory white, using a solid sculptural needle felting technique built upon a wire armature, which makes his head and trunk gently poseable.
Balthasar has black Czech glass eyes, the typical single-domed head and sloping back covered with coarse hair, a long trunk and the characteristic upward curving tusks, small round ears, sturdy feet with toenails, and a small tail with a fluffy tuft. He comes with his red “Vagabond Strays” signature bandana scarf, that was carefully tea-stained for that well-loved, well-worn look.

All “Vagabond Strays” pull-along animals are securely mounted on a hand painted and ever so gently distressed wooden base on *working* metal wheels, with a crochet pull cord tied to a small metal ring.

With the base included, Balthasar stands approx 7 cm / 2 3/4 inches tall.

Each little member of the “Vagabond Strays” will travel - comfortably nested in protective wood wool - in an environmentally friendly Kraft paper window box, closed with hemp twine and a paper Zolala! banderol. Included are a hand signed Certificate of Authenticity (with his/her self-chosen name), and printed care instructions.
Securely packed and shipped by REGISTERED/INSURED MAIL in a sturdy cardboard box, with full insurance coverage and an online tracking number for safety and peace of mind.
